When it is worth upgrading
If a single access point serves 20+ devices, or users complain that Wi-Fi "gets slow when everyone is in," Wi-Fi 6 usually helps more than adding bandwidth. It manages the airtime better, not just the peak speed.

MikroTik covers 802.11ax across several form factors — the hAP ax for desktop and home use, and the cAP ax ceiling access points for offices and venues. They run the same RouterOS as the rest of the range, so you manage them the same way.
The catch
You get the full Wi-Fi 6 benefit only when the client devices support it too — though ax access points still improve older networks by handling airtime more efficiently. If you are planning a refresh, it is worth standardising on ax now so the network ages well.
